Bernie Rice Joins NEUSA's Advisory Board

(Pensacola, FL February 15th, 2017) National Energy USA is pleased to announce that J. Bernard Rice has joined the Board of Directors, effective January 20th, 2017.

National Energy’s Founder, CEO & Chief Scientist, Dave Robau saying “Bernie Rice coming on board is a valuable addition to our management team. His knowledge span of information technology, coupled with vast experience in enterprise business makes him a perfect fit for the future of National Energy.”

Bernie Rice, was the co-founder of Educational Partners, then CEO of Edmark, Inc, the IBM subsidiary for educational software. He is excited about joining the board of National Energy; “The technology and problem solving solutions of National Energy takes care of solid waste, landfills and the on-going environmental problems of coal-fired power plants, and they leverage all that into a superior energy source”.

Rice goes on to say “National Energy is an impressive company that has done their homework and developed sensible technology that constitutes ‘best of breed’. It is truly exciting on how this company will be making the world greener.”

About J. Bernard “Bernie” Rice:

Mr. Rice is recognized as one of the world’s leading experts in Information technology. Mr. Rice has a wealth of enterprise business and significant senior level relationships that are unmatched in developing strategic partnerships. Along with his partner, General Wesley Clark, they are driving a portfolio of companies with market leadership capabilities in Green Energy, Medical technology, cybersecurity, education and real estate.

In a long career with IBM, Mr. Rice started in sales, then in finance, before becoming the Chief Financial Officer and General Partner in the IBM Venture Capital Group, and subsequently as Vice President of Business development. There he developed strategic partnerships with Berkshire-Hathaway and Hallmark.

Following that, Mr. Rice served as CEO of Edmark, Inc. the IBM subsidiary that developed of educational and on-line research software. Under Mr. Rice’s leadership, the 2000 spin-off of IBM’s education products resulted in the formation of Riverdeep Inc.

He is currently the managing Director of Crescent Financial Partners, Senior Vice President for Enverra Partners LLC and was a founder of Best Practice Network, Inc. and sits on the board of Biotricity.
